Theoretical Approaches Summary

My work with clients is based on the work of Carl Gustav Jung. His work has significantly impacted my individuation work and therefore has been a reliable guide in my practice. I like incorporating Jung’s work because it takes the focus away from looking at what is wrong, or pathological with a person and rather places emphasis on becoming more conscious and aware which leads us to the sacred within. This method is successful for my work with individuals, children, parents, and couples. Jungian therapy is particularly helpful in overcoming anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles as it looks at the whole person and not just symptoms. Change is inevitable and being conscious and aware gives meaning to our lives and is the quickest and most permanent way to move forward in life in a healthy manner.
